Yesterday I changed up my breakfast plan because, one, I had an EOC that morning, and I wanted something new!
I had a yogurt parfait! This was a wonderful way to start my day, providing me with fruit, dairy, and sustenance to keep me going. The health benefits of yogurt are major, it contains calcium, vitamin D and fights off yeast and bladder infections. What some of you might not know about yogurt is that it can help decrease belly fat. How? There is a healthy bacteria in yogurt that eats fats once in the body. Pretty cool!
1 cup fruit: blueberries, strawberries, banana…etc. (I sometime add frozen fruit)
1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt: no need for the sugary yogurt, fruit will sweeten it enough.
1/4 cup of granola: I use bare naked, you can also use a cereal.
